Eye Sight Returned

Four months ago in December, Jeremiah was accidentally shot in the eye with a BB gun which missed his brain by 1mm. His eye was completely shut and doctors wanted to remove it (they said it would never work again). A day before the service we attended, another student prophesied they would see an unusual miracles. We had the opportunity fto pray for sweet Jeremiah and as we began to pray over him, @karinaatorress was singing “open the eyes of my heart” not knowing what was happening in the back of the room. Jeremiah’s eye opened as we say and prayed over him. He could see out of his left eye when he couldn’t see before! When I would hold up numbers on my fingers while covering his “good” eye, he could tell me immediately what the numbers were. This sweet boy at four years old experienced a complete miracle, we all did that night. Jeremiah was in our arms as we sang over him, he fell asleep just moments after telling the room what just happened. His mom even said that he is never calm, he never lets people hold him, and he never listens. Yet Jeremiah met a God that night who wants to heal and who loves and wants to encounter his children.

I'm a dreamer, a lover, an idealist, a futurist, a creative, a follower, and a friend. I'm a lot of things we have titles for, but strip it all down to find what's left—who I really am after seasons and years and cities and nations—I'm loved by God and I'm discovering how to live with Him. I'm on a journey that is ambiguous for the nearsighted yet clearly defined in retrospect—becoming fully alive. It's predictably unpredictable to me in the moment but always leads to where I want to be, even before I know where that is. I often share about the process of finding and living the life Jesus has paid for—the abundant life.  Find out more at abramgoff.com
