Project Overview:
The More Gathering is an online event turned ecourse focusing on empowering women to embrace their own self worth, beyond their past experiences or value insinuated via culture or media.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
This was a live event that also was recorded and packaged as an e-course afterwards.
This event occurred in July 2020, still in the early stages of Covid when people were able to begin to gather again but before zoom fatigue was a thing.
We wanted to highlight all women, not just early 20 somethings in this course as this topic is necessary and something all women deal with.
Fun fact: About 7 minutes into the live broadcast of the event, a car crashed into a transformer knocking out the electricity to the entire side of town. We had to pack up our set up, drive across town to a friends office, and had resumed broadcast in less than 25 min.
